Outside temp sensor wire location (Allgemein)

YogiE28, Wednesday, 03.03.2004, 15:53 (vor 8256 Tagen)

Hi,

Can someone here tell me the exact location of where the wire to the outside temp sensor of the BC goes through the firewall? There are several locations where this could be done but I want to know the original location. Also, am I correct that the wire runs across the inside of the left fender? Someone who has taken an E28 apart for parts should know this.

Thanks for your help!

Look at the picture. On the right you see the clutch pedal, upper left the
multi purpose connector. The blue wire with the black connector and the black
coating is your friend...
(The black piece of rubber is already in your E28.)

Correct. It takes the same way like all the other wires.

N.

Well Nico, what can I say? I've been looking for this answer for over a week, and you delivered a picture as well. What more could one want.

Thanks a million, you have been most helpful! <img src=http://bilder.parsimony.net/smilies/smile.gif alt=smile>
