The two metal brackets which fix the relay box of the bordcomputer are no standard. You have to add them yourself when placing a BC in your BMW later. I have an 525e of 1985 and have placed a BC into my Cockpit in later years, too, and i had to add them.
But i have the BC of a M535i of 1987, and i don't know if the part number of my code plug on the Backside of the BC is correct, do you know the correct one?

Some time ago you posted two pictures of the location of the BC relay box;

The pics show two metal brackets where the relay box and chime holder is fastened with two plate nuts. I'm unable to look for myself at the moment, my question is: are these brackets already present in the car or do I have to get them seperately? I can't find them on my ETK.
