Documentation from BMW or TÜV

Hello!

Im restoring/rebuilding an 1978 e12. The car was sold here in Norway as an 518. In 1991 the car was changed into a 528i.

I have got an 3,5litre engine, the same as in the e12 m535 and I want to use this engine in my 528i. To legally use this car in Norway, I need documentation that says the chassie are stiff enough for this engine. I also have brakes and stabilizer bars from the e12 m535.

I have looked in the BMW part catalouge, and i can see that the 1978 528i and the 1980 m535 has the same part number on the chassie.

- What i need is documentation that says the 518 chassie is stiff enough for using the 535 218hp engine.

I really need help with with this!

BMW Norway will not help me. They just told me they didnt help with this anymore.

Are some of you able to help me? To contact BMW or TÜV?
