Jungs, ist doch einfach von einem '82er 528e? das erste BJ ohne Akku's und also keine Fehler. Verstehe die Kommotion nicht ganz; sieht doch besch... aus?
Mfg steffen.

Aufregung... ist doch interessant. Mal was anderes. Das erste Baujahr hatte keine Akkus ? U folglich keine SI- Anzeige ? Das habe ich noch nie gehört.
Schön ist das Teil wirklich nicht...

Der Kollege aus den US erzählte noch mehr, ganz interessant:

"I forgot to mention - back when the 55 MPH >> (5 views)

Message: was the U.S. speed limit there was also a requirement placed on the manufacturers for the maximum speed indicated to be 85 MPH. This was a junk regulation. The line of thinking from the Joan Claybrook facists, was that having a speedo calibrated faster than 85 mph invited people to see if they could exceed the maximum calibration of the speedo. The regulation was deemed to be idiotic and was rescended sometime in the early to mid 80's.

A large percentage of the crap in cars today is the result of U.S. regulations. Things such as requirements to step on the brake pedal to start cars with automatic transmissions. Pushing the clutch pedal to start manual transmission cars. At one time you couldn't start some models of US cars if someone was sitting in either front seat with the seatbelts unfastened. All this stuff is really to protect the stupid people that shouldn't be allowed to operate a vehicle. If it were as difficult to get a drivers license in the U.S. as it is in Germany, the number of U.S. drivers would be substantially reduced. "
